Super typhoon Haiyan, one of the strongest storms recorded, as seen from Japan Meteorological Agency/EUMETSAT and NASA’s Aqua satellite. 

Super Typhoon Haiyan has battered the Philippines with ferocious winds of up to 320 km/h (199mph). The latest forecast shows the storm churning across the South China Sea for the next couple of days before making landfall Sunday near Hue, Vietnam.
